Charter
(Here we shall build a Charter of Religious Dialogue as posts and discussions progress.)
Commenting Guidelines
I hope you will not deem it from arrogance when I state that contributing to my diablog is a privilege, not a right. I welcome all contributions, no matter how contrary to my opinions, which are shared in the spirit of learning – from the discussions, not just from me – and advancing dialogue and understanding.
All comments are moderated, and I am unlikely to approve anonymous comments, which I feel are contrary to the spirit of dialogue. I invite contributors to be very open about who they are and what their position is on the matters at hand. When I feel that a person is not interested in proper dialogue as I see it, I reserve the right not to continue lengthy discussions with that person. They are free to use other forums such as their own blogs.
If I feel that a comment has inappropriate content (such as foul language or abuse), I will not approve it, and likewise if I suspect that its purpose is merely to create discord or draw others into making statements which are subsequently misrepresented on other websites.
If you have a complaint about any decision, feel free to raise it with me by e-mail.
